Advanced Practice:

  • Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)

    • A small, flexible scope is used to view the larynx and pharynx

      during breathing, voicing and swallowing for more accurate evaluations and

      intervention plans.

  • Videofluoroscopy (swallow x-ray) - Completed offsite through the hospital

  • Tracheostomy

  • Laryngectomy

As well as private work at Errard Specialists, Ellie works in hospitals and universities locally in Ballarat, and in Melbourne.

Work:

  • Grampians Health - Ballarat: Ellie is the Senior Acute Speech Pathologist for acute Grampians Health Services. She supports clinicians in a range of areas including neurology, cancer and respiratory diseases.

  • Austin Health - Ellie’s early career commenced at Austin Health and she remains a casual employee for the weekend service hospital-wide

  • Federation University - Ellie is a lecturer, examiner and content creator for Speech Pathology courses at Federation University

Ellie went to school in Ballarat, with a singing scholarship for her senior years - her passion for voice stems from the long relationship she has with performance voice and music
